By using Prose, you agree to these terms. Please read them. The key points: you own your data, we don't sell it, you're responsible for the messages you send, and you can cancel anytime.
By accessing or using Prose at useprose.co (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free trial users and paid subscribers.
Prose is an AI-powered outbound sales messaging tool. The Service allows you to: enrich prospect data from public sources using a LinkedIn URL, generate personalized outbound messages using AI, send those messages from your connected Gmail account, and track email opens, clicks, and replies.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Prose. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for professional business use only.
You must create an account to use Prose. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@useprose.co if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to use Prose only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You are solely responsible for the content of all messages sent through Prose. Prose provides AI-generated drafts — you are responsible for reviewing and approving any message before sending.
When you connect your Gmail account, you authorize Prose to send emails and read reply threads on your behalf, scoped to the specific permissions you grant. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or within the Prose settings page. Revoking access will disable Gmail sending features but will not affect your account or data.
Prose offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). All payments are processed by Stripe.
You retain ownership of all content you provide to Prose, including LinkedIn URLs, any input data, and the final messages sent from your account. You grant Prose a limited license to process and store this content solely to provide the Service.
Prose retains all rights to the Service itself, including the application code, AI models, enrichment pipeline, signal scoring system, and all related intellectual property.
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific reply rates, deliverability outcomes, or business results from using Prose.
AI-generated messages are drafts. Prose does not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of generated content. You are responsible for reviewing all messages before sending.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prose shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Prose in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prose and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any messages you send using Prose.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that causes harm to others or to Prose. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
